GoodWe Innovative Inverters Showcased at International Green Energy Expo 2018

The International Green Energy Expo is Korea's largest and Asia's leading PV & Renewable Energy exhibition and conference where the latest market, policy, finance and technology happenings are discussed by 1000 industry professionals from 17 fields of the renewable energy sector.

Among other well-known global PV brands, GoodWe showcased its latest series of solar inverters including the three-phase, four MPPT GoodWe MT series and the innovative GoodWe EM series, the only energy storage inverter displayed at the expo.

GoodWe MT Series is especially designed for medium and large scale commercial rooftops and ground-mounted solar PV systems where maximum versatility and profitability are important. It is equippedwith four MPP Trackers ensuring that the outputs of the connected modules are able to generate the highest yields even in different PV installation conditions, up to 5% higher compared with the string inverters with one MPP tracker on the market. Moreover, thanks to its compact design and power boost function, GoodWe MT Series can provide a 30% DC input oversizing and 15% continuous maximum AC output power overload, thus offering a faster return on investment for the project.

Being the only energy storage inverter at the fair, GoodWe EM series hybrid inverter attracted many visitors due to its intelligent battery management function compatible with various top battery brands, which make it suitable for enhancing self-consumption and providing backup power to essential loads in the event of loss of grid. Capable of being either grid-interactive or grid-independent, the EM series allows export control limit – up to zero export – and provides UPS function with 10 ms automatic switchover.

The International Green Energy Expo has proven to be a successful event for GoodWe's expansion into the Korean market, especially after concluding a deal with a new client whoplaced a MW order onsite.
