GoodWe establishes after-sales presence in Chile

Our expansion in Chile takes place on the back of several successful years for GoodWe in the Americas, with rising sales of our XS, DNS and SDT inverters in the frequent residential and C & I projects of Chile but also Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean; markets that have seen a multidimensional expansion in the demand for solar energy over the past years, where a combination of high electricity tariffs, demand from isolated but economically important regions and aging distribution lines have fueled a massive surge in the appetite for solar. 

In Chile we are particularly bullish: we applaud the comprehensive policies implemented by the government that are behind the rising share of renewables in the Chilean energy mix and also feel very excited about the expansion in the use of energy storage systems (without a doubt one of GoodWe’s strengths) and in the installation of large string inverters, such as the new GoodWe HT. 

GoodWe’s new Chilean team member has several years of accumulated experience acquired in the dynamic universe of Chilean solar distributors and previously working with a large module manufacturer, which allowed him to get to know first-hand the GoodWe inverters as well as a rounded understanding of the most common issues impacting the operation of PV systems. 

Our new after-sales engineer will be in close communication with our customers, establishing a frequent dialogue and a proximity that will certainly give customers the peace of mind to undertake big projects involving GoodWe. He will also coordinate with our team in Mexico to provide a premium quality after-sales service to the broad Spanish speaking Latam region.  

The Chilean market remains dynamic and now it is expanding across new segments. GoodWe trusts that our new portfolio of products, that include more storage inverters and our new line of low and high voltage batteries as well as our new HT inverter fits perfectly well with the new trends of the Chilean market. With this new after-sales presence we are better positioned to better serve this important market.
